Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery is a wonderful way to have something truly unique and one of a kind created just for you.
Maybe you have an idea for a piece of jewellery that you'd like have made or have you got a special milestone or significant gift coming up and want something totally bespoke with lots of meaning? I can design and create your bespoke jewellery here in my Aberdeenshire jewellery studio.

How does the process work?
Send me an email and together we can discuss your idea. I'll create a few sketches with an estimated price. I'll ask you lots of questions like what size and shapes you like, what chain and clasp or what gemstone you'd like to incorporate so you can decide on every element of the piece to make it even more bespoke to you.
Once we've decided on the design and timescale I'll send you in invoice and start work. I'll update you along the way with pictures and let you know when it's finished.
Design
A bespoke piece of jewellery can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. You can send me a full sketch of exactly what you're after or just a loose theme and let me sketch out some ideas for you.
I can have your jewellery professionally laser engraved if you would like to include a special name or date.
I can source new stones for you to suit your budget or take the stones out of your existing jewellery and incorporate them into something new.

Cost
Your bespoke piece of jewellery will be an investment, a completely unique one of a kind creation. It's not always as expensive as you might think but the price will depend on the complexity of the design, additional services like engraving and the materials used; silver is more affordable than gold, 9ct gold is more affordable than 18ct gold and gemstones can vary in price from a few pounds to hundreds. If you have a budget in mind let me know and I can simplify the design to suit you.
Timescale
Depending on the time of year your commission jewellery will take around 4-6 weeks to complete. If you're shopping for a Christmas gift please get in touch no later in the year than September as it's a very busy time of year. My commissions orders are closed from October and reopen in January.
